Spriggan Racial Characteristics1
Spriggan player characters are defined by class levels—they do not possess racial hit dice. As a spriggan, you possess the following racial characteristics.

  • +2 Dexterity, +2 Constitution: You are agile and hardy. You are thought to possess some blood of giants within you.
  • Humanoid: You are a humanoid of the gnome subtype.
  • Small: You are a Small creature and gain a +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their CMB and CMD, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
  • Speed: You have a basic speed of 20 ft.
  • Low-Light Vision: You can see in areas of low-light without penalty.
  • Quick On Your Feet (Ex): You gain a +1 racial bonus to Reflex saving throws.
  • Spriggan Magic (Sp; Cha): You add +1 to the DC of any saving throws against evocation spells that they cast. You also gain the following spell-like abilities: 1/day—flare, scare, shatter.
  • Size Alteration (Su) At will as a standard action, you can change his size between Small and Large. Weapons, armor, and other objects on your person grow proportionally when you change size (objects revert to normal size 1 round after a spriggan releases them). When you become Large, your speed increases to 30 feet, you gain +12 Strength, –2 Dexterity, and +6 Constitution, and you takes a –2 size penalty to your AC. While Large, you cannot use your racial spell-like abilities.
  • Thieving Legacy (Ex): You gain a +2 racial bonus to Disable Device and Sleight of Hand.
  • Weapon Familiarity: You are proficient with any weapon with all gnomish racial weapons.
  • * Standard Languages: You begin play speaking Aklo and Gnome. With a high intelligence score you may choose from the following: Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Goblin, and Orc. See the Linguistics skill page for more information about these languages.
