Duplicitous Dread (Taddol Barbarian Archetype)

Duplicitous Dread (Barbarian Archetype)
Calling upon the spirits of their ettin ancestors, these savage and brutal taddols master the art of fighting with two weapons by using no art at all. The military town Khambir boasts a garrison of these majestic brutes, two-hundred and twenty-two strong.

Coordinated Rage (Ex) You can coordinate your limbs easier when focusing your fury. At 1st level, you can use coordinated rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + your Constitution modifier. For each level after 1st you possess, you can rage for 2 additional rounds per day. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as that gained from bear’s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that you can rage per day. You can enter a coordinated rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of coordinated rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours need not be consecutive.

While in a coordinated rage, you take no penalties when fighting with two weapons, as if you possessed the ettin’s superior two-weapon fighting ability. In addition, you take a –2 penalty to Armor Class. While in a coordinated rage, a duplicitous dread cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skill (except Acrobatics, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration (such as spellcasting).

You can end your coordinated rage as a free action, and is fatigued for 1 minute after a coordinated rage ends. You can’t enter a new coordinated rage while fatigued or exhausted, but can otherwise enter a coordinated rage multiple times per day. If you fall unconscious, your coordinated rage immediately ends.

  • This alters the rage class ability.

Greater Coordinated Rage At 11th level, you gain a +1 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls when using coordinated rage. This morale bonus increases to +2 at 20th level.

  • This replaces greater rage and mighty rage.

Tireless Rage At 17th level, you are no longer fatigued at the end of your coordinated rage.

  • This alters tireless rage.
