Description
The boots of serene steps are woven from the north, east, west and south winds, appearing as an opaque, boot-shaped windstorm. Though they have often been worn by the High Abbot of Mangkon’s monastery complex, they have just as often been worn by adventurers, giving the monks of Mangkon a target to pursue. These boots allow their wearer to walk virtually anywhere with unlimited duration, as per air walk and water walk. They also grant their wearer a +20 bonus to Acrobatics checks to maintain balance. Lastly, the wear never provokes attacks of opportunity when walking through a threatened square.
Destruction
The boots of serene steps are destroyed if taken more than a mile underground.
